Here in Canada, it’s Thanksgiving weekend! I’d say Thanksgiving is probably my favourite holiday – not just because it’s my birthday weekend, but also because I think it’s awesome to have a day of the year that’s specifically dedicated to giving thanks. This year in particular, I’m thankful for a lot of things – my family, first and foremost… my new job that I love, being in Canada… and so very much more!
So, I decided to create a printable for you and your families to share what you’re thankful for!
These printables are configured to print on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper – there are two files – one that says “I’m thankful for…” and one that is blank. You can use the blank one as a place card, or a note, or … well whatever you like.
To get the printable, surf on over to the Superflash Creative Facebook Page – click like, and then click the “free downloads” button in the tool bar – you’ll see all the free printables I’ve offered over time, and if you click back at any time, you’ll be able to see all the new content that’s added as well!
Attention teachers and homeschoolers! It’s the start of a new school year, and it’s always a good idea to start the year off organized… so today, I’m offering up some free printable Daily & Weekly planners.
I was recently chatting with my friend Jen about my blog and graphic design in general. She told me about her adventures in homeschooling, and suggested that it would be cool if I offered up some printables on my blog using my own graphic flair for moms who homeschool. I decided to take her up on the challenge, but it is taking quite a bit of research. I don’t have kids, and I’ve never tried educating them before, so I’m not sure exactly what is needed for homeschooling. I am, however, super big on organization – so while I attempt to learn about what kids would like, here’s something that I know will be useful for moms, teachers and educators in general.
I created these files in Illustrator, and used grey, black and white as my colour scheme, so that you don’t have to worry about using up all your colour ink. The PDF’s are in two separate files for easy printing (Because you may want 365 pages of the daily, and only 52 of the weekly!)
I’m trying out something new for the downloads this time around. If you would like a full resolution PDF of these two planners, surf on over to Superflash Creative on Facebook, hit the “like” button and then click the free downloads tab. I plan on offering some free printables over that way as often as possible, so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
Did you forget tomorrow is Father’s Day? Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. I designed some tags that you can print and use a number of different ways. The possibilities are endless. Use them on a handmade card… cut them out and use them as cupcake toppers (you may want to scale the size slightly smaller for that!)… print them on cardstock and write a note on the back. Just click on the image at left, which will link you to a larger file that you can right click and save.
Whichever way you use them, Dad will appreciate the thought – and I promise, I won’t tell him that it came at the last minute!
If you do use them, please post back and let me see what you did to recognize Dad on his special day!
